Just got my first bike
Hey everybody!
After riding dirtbikes for quite a while (Hondas, sorry), I just got my first streetbike, a '96 ZX-6R.
I am picking it up tomorrow, and have only actually test-ridden it, but I saw the forum and was excited to join and start posting.
Some details on the bike:
D&D exhaust, K&N air filter and jet kit, new turn signals (front and rear), new wires and plugs, new tires, and lots of polished metal on the bike (including new polished forks). The bike has just about 16,5xx miles, and seems to be in very excellent running condition, and has never been wrecked or dropped. What do you think? (pic below)
I tried to do my research on buying a used bike, and have been looking on Craigslist for the last couple months to get a good idea of prices and what to expect. Experienced guys, how much do you think would be a fair price for the bike?? I just wanted to know what you guys thought, but just the fact that this is my first bike, all I'm doing is imagining the fun I'll have on the road.
