I've found this forum a really helpful place in the past. I have a jet ski that is malfunctioning. It's a Kawasaki Ultra LX JT1500C7F. Twice it has burned through the exhaust sleeve between the exhaust manifold and muffler. The first time I traced the water system that cools the exhaust. I cleared out some salt build up and put it back together. Ran for a little while, then repeated problem. Any advice?

I'm a little mechanically inclined and don't want to pay a shop. While hunting, I found that the exhaust ring gaskets are broken instead of complete rings. Could that cause a exhaust leak that could do that?
