INCOMMING.......Clear the pool!!!
Hey folks.
I happened across this place looking for tips on getting the most bang for the buck out of my newly aquired KLX 250. I'm not new to bikes and do some road cruising on my Honda Shadow but I've not been "dirt y" since I got rid of my old 440 Maico one lung 2 stroke thumper, and what a thumper it WAS, kick start karma, broke bones recurring road rash and all !!
So anyway a hearty hello to all. I hope I don't ask too many stupid questions but if I do don't tell my mom.

I can't say I wasn't warned. At first I used the old knee to the jawbone shock absorbing system. ....Didn't care for it. A compression release about did the trick. It still kicked back like a mule in heat though. I liked the bike. It was nicely set up and had competed several times in the grand nationals but parts were getting tough. The guy I bought the bike from was Bobby Goodpasture. He was tight with Maico since he raced for them but eventually he couldn't get parts reliably either.
