Default Howdy Folks

I just signed up, but have been around motorcycles for a while, 40 years, to be almost exact.

I have a 2010 KLX250s that is about to get a 351 kit. I ride it mostly on unimproved New England roads and some single track (not as much single track in NE any more).

I also use my KLX for riding on the ice. I write a blog at RidingInTheZone.com and wrote up an article about what I learned about riding on ice. The KLX is a bit underpowered for the big lakes, but it a blast anyway. Ice Riding Basics: Winter Moto-Fun | Riding in the Zone

OMG, I'd be on my *** so many times it hurts thinking about it. Looks like a hoot though! Welcome to the forum. I hope that "251" will be worth the money and time to install.

Oh ya, and by the way the mod is a huge Seasquawks fan. Good luck!

Everyone is intimidated by ice riding until they realize just how much grip those tire give. Your brain says "no way", which is one reason why it's so much fun. It's amazing, the lean angles you can achieve.

Go Pats. :P
