Hi, new girl
Hi there,
Just wanted to introduce myself. Im a proud owner of a 2005 zx6r....and having lots of fun on her. I started riding when I was 18 on a Ninja 250. I've wanted to own and ride a bike ever since I was a little kid. It started when I was on a family trip and was totally amazed by a woman riding a ducati. Even though that was only the early 1990's there really weren't as many women riders as today. I wish I knew who that lady was because she was my first inspiration towards riding. I wouldve started sooner but I had to wait until I was a legal adult Now a few years down the line I'd really like to try a track school sometime. I live on the central coast of california and feel privileged with all the beautiful rides in the area...I just wish there were more lady riders around. Anyway, thanks all for reading...I look forward to reading all your informative posts!

RE: Hi, new girl
Welcome!!! It's always great to hear another woman getting a bike. I just bought my 2006 zx6r right after Thanksgiving. I just got bored riding on the back of my husband's bike. Now I ride every chance I get. I live in Florida...we have the great weather, but not the twisties like you do CA. Anyways, welcome to the forum, and I hope you enjoy your bike.
