Hi all - Just snagged a 1985 ZL900 for...
well if i told u it might get ugly, lets say its less than the tires on it are worth.. (note HUGE grin on my face!!)
Anyway - the left side crank case has a crack (girl i bought it from ought this as a 1st bike, dropped it at 30mph and got such a fright sold it) and i have a new part (head?) with purchase (it was bought from a kawasaki dealership owner) b4 so i can safely say its in SERIOUSLY good shape, tires, cam lobes, everything seems mint, even the chrome pipes/headers look brand spanking new!
Hoping to get some tips/advice from here while i slap her together.
/btw is the ZX900 workshop manual/engine same as the ZL900s??? I read somewhere the ZL is in fact the ZX, just with some slight alterations..
