I have a 2000 ZRX1100 with minor mods. Love ridiing that thing. I've been riding for 22 years and never have gotten board with it.

My first Kawasaki was a 1982 GPz750....Still miss that thing, but someone else wanted it a little more I guess[:@]

No didnt see Pics talked to him through IM's today. Kind of worried 2 crashes in 2 months

 

Check in the proposed ride section on the ZRX site. page 5 of DFW hooters ride. Lots of fun riding. Very fast. I had to back down early. It was great riding. Those Z1000's are fast

 

Almost bought a z1000 but liked the rex more but the demo 1000 I rode was not as pepy as the moded rex

 

I don't know yet - I haven't driven it. I got it this past December so it is sitting in the shed until the snow melts. It seems to be an awesome bike for me though, I have no problems moving it around by myself and it is low enough that I can get both feet flat on the ground. I can't wait to take it out for a rip!

 

Yeah, those bikes are pretty fast. You will love it. They are light and handle very well. I friend of mine was looking for her first bike after she got her license and I was steering her towards one. The blue ones looked great and she seemed to like them. I was also hoping she woulfd get it so I could ride it But at the motorcycle show in Dallas she liked cruisers. So that was the end of that[:@]

 

Cool! I was originally interested in a cruiser but a friend of mine took me for a rip on his Yamaha - I got hooked! My 500 is purple/black color, I really like the color because it is different but let me tell you, pretty hard to get gear to match, so I'll have to be inventive. The things that really sold me on the 500 was its weight, height, and the fact that the clutch and brake levers are adjustable (small hands).
