Default HELP ME OUT

my vulcan 1500 classic makes a loud lifter noise but i cant ajust them;;how can i stop the noise;it doesnt seem to hurt it just bothering it so loud;;how can i stop it;;and where can a person find heads and motor parts maybe used where i can afford;;write me at cindyloumay@yahoo.com if u like;;;anyway im new my first day here not sure how to use this but thanks anyway;;;;;;;;;;;;;;danny

Not sure about your ride but are you sure it has lifters? Sounds like you may be in need of a vale adjustment.

Welcome to the forums man.....

What year Vulcan? THe newer ones have hydraulic lifters and are non adjutable. So either a lifter flattened, or a tensioner maybe.....
