Hello from the pacific NW

Hey NW, glad to have you with us. Sounds like you found yourself a classic! Be sure to check/change/upgrade the fluids, rubber, and hit the lube points with fresh stuff. Older bikes can be great, but can also be deadly if neglected. Post up some pics; we'd love to see it!
Welcome, again. Gear up; stay safe.

Welcome to the forums, just don't do what I did about 25 years ago, I bought a bike with a dead battery, and jump started it, got it running and proceeded to ride it home, then when I hit the brake it killed the motor because the battery was so dead, it killed the motor and I flew over the handle bars and landed on my face....YIKES!!! Get it running good, and make sure the battery is charging. Other than that check the tires real close, and get any old gas out of that thing.
