Default Hello from Maine

Nice site, just wanted to say hello. Not riding a Kawasaki yet, will be getting a 250 Ninja soon, as soon as I sell my old ride, 1985 Honda Shadow VT700. I guess I'm doing it backwards, all of my "old" friends tell me that sportbikes are for the younger crowd and you graduate to cruisers. [8D]

welcome to kf good people here. I am also from Maine bout 20 min from you hope your not planning on getting that 250 from the Brunswick dealer they are on back order gotta put a deposit basically buy in advance. they said they have bout ten more coming not sure if they are spoken for, thinking of getting one for my wife's first bike. don't worry bout the age thing I'm in my 40's and sold a cruiser not to long ago cuz if it ain't a sport bike its just no funfor me. nothing that some handlebar risers and a chiropractor cant fix when the crouched position gets to be tomuch. drop me a line and we go for a ride

Welcome Malcolm, good to have you here. So you want a 250 huh? Why not get the 250 that will give you more options of where you can ride? Look at the KLX man, I'm just saying. Hehehe

Welcome to KF! Better get a 250 Ninja with a heater on it where you live, do they make those??????????
Enjoy your new ride and dont hit any bears. I lived in Machias for 1 1/2 years and there were bears everywhere. I always thought, man if you hit a bear on a bike, it would **** him off and he would probably eat you as soon as you stopped sliding. Man that would suck huh?
