Another New One!

Another New One!
Just wanted to say hello! I just bought a 94 Ninja 500 in December and am getting really anxious to get out on it (if it would ever stop snowing and get warm around here - New Brunswick, Canada). I also have a 91 Pontiac Firebird that I was driving every summer up until now. It needs some work, so I thought I'd get a bike to replace it with for the time being.
Anyways, just wanted to say hello, hope to see more folks on here. Great site!

I noticed that things seem kind of slow, but hey its kinda nice for once! Things will probably pick up pretty quick once people get looking around. Actually, I came across it while trying to access another site, that seems to be down at the moment. I don't know a whole lot about bikes (I don't even have a license to drive one yet) so I don't have too many ideas for stuff about bikes, but I've got lots of ideas for off-topic stuff, but then again you probably do too.
Thanks for the welcome! I'll be around!

Just joined this site about 10 minutes ago. For anyone who has a ZZR1200 - how do you like it? I know it has plenty of POWER but is it comfortable to take on long rides? I'm looking to get either a ZRX 1200 or the ZZR 1200. Thanks for your input.

Welcome! They are both a good choice, but do you want wind and rain protection. Alot of top speed and body work. Or a lighter bike with a little less top speed clasic looks and very little wind protection. The rex ( ZRX 1200R ) reguires a rear shock change to be a good twiste weapon. The ZZR is great in the sweepers but heavy and slow in tight turns. Both are very fast. Plan on $ 2000 for exaust, shocks, jet kit, better tires for the rex. Then it is truly inspiring. The ZZr will coast you 10,000 grand for new,and the Rex they deal usualy about 7400 dollars so even with the extra 2 K for Mods the rex is cheaper. Mod the ZZR 12000 approx. How much you want to spend. They are also in diffrent insurance groups cheak the price for your age and driving record. Faried bikes almost always coast more for insurance and repairs. Hope this helps.
