About me?
Hey folks,
I just joined up.
I have been riding for about 17 years off and on. Started with a '77 KZ1000 (Loved it). Then got a 86 ZX11 (Loved it even more). Would take another one if I could find it in good condition at when I have the money for it. Then I got a '93 KX500. Funny thing is that when I was growing up I had the mindset that Dirtbikes weren't good unless they were Yamaha and street bikes weren't good unless they were Harleys. Riding rice burners was against the American way. So now I may be a traitor but I really think that finding a better, lower maintenance bike at a lower price is really what America is all about. "Capitalism" Get the best for less. This is why I ride Kawi's.
Now I have just bought a 95 Vulcan in good running order, at least until last weekend, for about a grand. I like the bike and am still trying to get used to it. Especially after riding forward leaners for so long. I have gotta get rid of those running boards. I will be getting online here to get helpful hints of how to keep this thing running. I hope you guys don't mind my questions.
Maybe one day, if you are riding here in Colorado and see a well dented red vulcan we can share a drink and a few stories.
