yes yes sold old battery. New ones got all the juice. Thank you everyone: K7fiddy, Kohburn, Kawi750r, Speedracer138, Sup_uni. I checked all my connections I believe, and there is nothing in my "ZX600" manual that seems to come close to explaining what my unfortunate problem is with the 86 Ninja. Any other bright ideas?? Something obviously shorted out. I checked my fuses 1st thing. There all gravy. Like I said that after I took off the starter relay and reassembled it back on to the bike I couldn't even get that cool buzzing noise. Good karma to anyone who can help me

 

probably won't be able to solve this one without a multimeter so you can check the wires for breaks and shorts.

its not difficult work, just tedious

 

Yes sir thank you Kohburn. I think I'll bust out my multimeter. What setting should I use again?

 

It would be nice to keep your manual handy. Makes "hopscotching" with the meter easier.
