Default "80"kz750-carb prob

my old warhorse has taken to leaking gas out the overflow. I replaced the float valves(after a good cleaning). I believe I need to also replace the seats. The seats are pressed in. I can not find anyone/anyplace that will provide new seats. Pulling them out is not a problem, Pressing in-not a problem. Will I have to go to my local machine shop & make my own?

What I have for a bike is 1980 KZ750-H1 or LTD. The carbs are KEIHIN CV34. Four carbs. The seat has "20" & a symbol that is too small to tell what it is stamped on the top. The symbol looks like a dented box?- One of the vendors I talked to said it was KZ. I have talked with people from Sudco, CPW and KEIHIN and they all told me I would have to buy new carbs as this type seat (pushed in) was part of the carb(at $1140-more than I paid for the bike in "84"). Wellllll bullhokey. I have an extra set of carbs I picked up off Ebay & I have pulled a seat out. If what you can get doesn't work looks like I'll be sending the old seat to local Swiss screw machine shop for quote.
Anyhow with the amount of carbs out in the world I got to believe that this seat has got to be pretty common item. If you can get these I would be a very happy camper.

I've heard elsewhere that the seats are hard to come by for these carbs. I have an '81 KZ750, and just got done rebuilding the carbs on it. Check your float level first. if you have the carbs off the bike, turn them upside down, and blow into the fuel inlet line. If any air leaks out, find out where the leak is coming from. that will most likely be your problem
