Now It's the Kick Starter
I had posted the other day about not knowing how to hook up the fuel lines to the carbeurator on my 1999 KX80. I got that figured out I think. We got it to fire over, and we're trying to get it to start regularly when it locked up.
I thought it was the piston locked in the cylinder but we pulled it down, and the jug slides right off the piston. It turns out it appears the kick start linkage is bound up somehow.
Has anyone seen this happen before, and what would the cause be? How far into the gearbox do you need to go in order to try and fix this? I pulled the cover off the RH side to expose the clutch. Do I need to pull the clutch out in order to get this freed up orbs there a simpler way to get this thing to unlock?
