Fuel Line Connections 1999 KX 80
I have a 1999 KX80 that we just changed the piston and rings on. We put it back together, but now it does not seem to be getting fuel. There are three different nipples on the carb and I am not sure which one is supposed to connect to the tank.
If you hook the fuel inlet to the nipple on the right of the carb, fuel pours out the nipple on the bottom. When I hook it to the nipple on the left side of the carb, it ran for a second then died.
Which one of these connections do I hook the fuel inlet to, and what gets hooked to the other two then. I have an online service manual, but the hose routing diagram in it is worthless.

Two of those are vents. Connect the hose, turn the carb upside down (to seat the float needle) and gently blow into the hose. If it seems plugged, that's likely the fuel port. Try all three. Two should vent, one shouldn't.
