Default 1991 KX80 - Changing fork seals

Ok well I bought this 1991 KX 80 for 150$ (the guy said it didn't spark) and all I that was wrong was plug wasn't sitting on top of the spark plug properly, fixed that in 5 minutes then it ran. Thank god for idiots.

Anyways, the fork seals are broken, everything leaked up, and trust me, it's a rough ride. Is there any way to change the fork seals at home? The closet shop that does it near my place is over 200 miles, don't feel like driving all that if I can do it at home.

Is it worth trying to do it at home or don't waste my time and drive 200 miles to get it fixed?

thanks!
