Default Video of my son's smoky KX65

Sorry the vid is sideways, but you'll get the idea.

So far I've rebuilt the carb, repacked the muffler, adjusted the needle jet moving the clip up 1, and tried adjusting the float. Starts up cold well & as you can see - doesn't really smoke much when at idle. All other repairs past this one get a bit bigger so I'd love to get someone's (more) educated opinion. Thanks!!

Hey man, I just joined up and there's not much activity here so thought I'll post in your thread.

I have the same problem in my son's 65; but I have put in a new plug and will report back next sunday how it goes. I think the old plug fouling issue was overuse of oil a couple of months ago. No matter how many times I cleaned the plug it would get oily again and it would start to bog down especially at high revs.

Hoping the new plug sorts it out. What did you figure out?

I actually forgot I'd posted this! haha

I think I was in the same boat you're in. I put in a new plug, cleaned and rejet the carb & repacked the exhaust, but the most effective switch was switching over to a different oil. I used Motorex, which made a huge difference. My son's bike smoked so bad before, I actually started to think it was a much bigger problem.
