now i think i have done some major damage to me bike! i only purchased it a month or two ago and have only ridden it a few times. i probably should have done a top end rebuild when i brought but i didnt

The other day i was riding up a road, in a bout third gear when my bike started to bog and bit and then just died. because the bike was in gear but not running i just skidded for about 10 or 20 meters. after i came to a stop i put the bike back into nuetral and tried to kick it over. however i couldnt because it would get to a certain point and just stop. me mate mentioned we maybe able to roll start it, however we couldnt even do that.

im just hoping someone could me some advice on what may be wrong andhow much im looking at tofix it.
ive had a few people say its just probably the piston, and that ill probably only need a top end rebuild. however after reading on the net theres a possibilty that beacuse the top end hasnt been rebuilt in ages that i have stuffed me bottom end.

any help would be highly appreciated

Pull the plug, run your light into the hole to see what is happening. A hole in the piston crown? Scarred walls? Go from there.
