Does anyone know if a 2006 KLX 250 will swap into a 2001 KLX300 frame? Or any Year KLX 250 for that matter?

I destroyed 3 gears and cracked the case on the 300 would. Cost may be about the same so might as well swap and add electric start.

Any thoughts?

It will fit, but I'm interested in the cylinder head on the 300.would you be interested in selling it?
