Default Zeta quick throttle tube

How Many people have installed the zeta quick throttle aluminum tube or something similar (what kind) and how do they perform.

I got the Zeta since it was the only one I found at the time. Grease the bar over the area where the tube will be so it will not bind up if dry.

It allows me to hit full throttle easier/quicker than the stock one. Obviously done by a bigger radius cable pulley. Set for both cables and not too hard to install after deadjusting the cables for max play at the carb. I forget, I may have put it on when doing jetting, so the cables may have been detached.

I want to get a quick pull for the 650 too. No more re-gripping to get full throttle.

You got a link to it? I was going to just get the whole Magura 314 throttle and replace the stock assembly. Wire up a momentary on kill button to use as my starter button. My throttle housing doesn't tighten enough on my bars anyway.

I prefer a really quick throttle. It's not quite as quick as the 2 stroke assembly I put on my 07, but it's quicker than stock. I'd by another.

If the switches were separate I'd have done that, but they aren't.

Contact Wheeling Cycle Supply to make sure you get the right part. I think the one for the Dtracker works for the S. I think their listing on their site is for the Japanese market since we never had the DTracker in the U.S. and certainly no 2004-2005 KLX250s.

Cool, I'll look into it. Thanks.

Yes, I prefer a "Very" quick throttle as well.

Does anyone know what's different, if anything, between the Magura 314, and the 314 DUO...?

What do you have? Also, what 2-stroke assembly did you put on the 07...?

Since I'm getting different switches, I'd like to see what all my options are.

Thanks....

I have the Zeta quick throttle tube now, but used the Motion Pro Vortex on my 07. It's just a standard 2 stroke (single cable) 1/4 turn throttle. It was faster than 1/4 turn n my KLX and I loved it.

The 314 duo has both a 90° and 100° twist set up possible - thus the "duo". I have one on my trials bike, but forget exactly how it worked. If I remember right, there are two locations for the cable to attach, one has a slightly larger pulley, You pop off the cap and it can be set on either one with minimal effort. I don't know about the standard 314.
