Here is a table showing ratios. PM me if you want this in Excel to play around with.
For nearly stock (snorkel removed), 95% dirt / 5 % highway, trail riding I like 13/51.
It is not too low for my riding. On wide open two-lane in southern AZ I have hit 55 mph according to GPS. It will cruise at 50 mph, level ground, pretty well when I need to get between trails. Otherwise I trailer everywhere.
I am pretty sure the chain is 108 links (12/15: no, it is 110). I bought a 120, tried it on the new sprockets, and cut it down to the right length. Had to move the stock chain guide forward. Had to get a "master link press tool" to close the o-ring master link.
On page 272 of the latest https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com catalog there is a chain sizing guideline of "Add one or two teeth to front or rear sprocket, add two links to the stock chain length" and vice versa.

You can also see that the snail adjuster is at -0.5. I must have the 14T up front for this photo.
If I were to do it again, I'd go with a 50 rear as TNC did. We don't have confirmation that a 15T would work with a 50 on the same 110 link chain, but I'm guessing there's a good chance since he reports a 1.5 snail adjuster setting with a 14/50. I also don't know if he had to do anything with the chain guide for a 50.

Thanks for theinformation. I installed a 50 tooth, with a 110 chain last night. I have a 13tin front. With the snail adjuster at 4, the bottom chain guard just fits withno modification
The bike is awesome ontight technical trails. It is also alot of fun on the faster woods sections.More shifting, but you have lots of power in each gear. I do 95% technicalsingle tract, with a few fire roads. I do not commute, as I'm only 10 - 15minutes away from trails. Further trails and I trailer.

13 or 14/45 108 depending on the ride, I just firmly snug the cs sprocket bolt and fold the keeper washer over so can swap it quickly on a ride or campground. Wrote the 13 14 snail cams settings on the swingarm so I don't have to check chain tension each time. Have run 13 14 / 49 with a 112. Chain was at 6.5 with 13/49. I use the Mohave quad front spockets, NOT the 300 part sprocket like one of the magazines wrongly suggests.

15 / 42, 106 barely fits on mine. I am on the closest notch. But it does work.
I have a 351BB, so I wanted to reduce my revs on the highway. Offroad will require lots of clutch work!

My front sprocket was toast and my chain was pretty stiff, so I changed both. I bought a 15T SunStar(?) and a 110 link DID 520VX2 chain (as 110 was cheaper than 106). Then I carefully ground down the pins to shorten the chain without mgelting th o-rings (or x-rings).
Oh, and I'll mention that it took a bit of effort to get the front sprocket cover back on with 15T. There's a metal piece which sits under the plastic. It's purpose is a mystery to me. But I had to bend and lever the thing into position so it wouldn't touch the chain.
