What's the oil flow direction through the filter

Default What's the oil flow direction through the filter
I installed a reusable stainless steel oil filter yesterday. For future reference, when it comes to cleaning it is the oil flowing from the outside-in or from the inside-out?

Oil flows from the exterior to the interior.
