My H2 with Flir iPhone attachment

So, I am nearly done with my straightening up my 2009 KLX250S, and i would like opinions about my set up, to see if I am missing the boat.

Cam mod, valves set, carb; #40 pilot 2.5 turns out, KLX300 needle and needle jet, 2nd groove down from top, 128 main, removed airbox lid. drilled larger hole in slide, matched stock header to the port, DG O slip on. I took the auto-compression release all the way off and pitched it. Otherwise stock, i.e.,gearing etc.

Much quicker, you still have to provoke a wheelie in 1st, but it is 39 degrees and the gas is Iowa winter gas.

Thoughts? Comments? performance with the stock bore I am missing?

When people talk about jets and whatnot they put DJ in front of the numbers, Dyno Jet?

DJ (Dyno Jet) numbers don't match the stock jet numbers that is why people will ask as it is an apples to oranges situation without knowing what is what. The Jets R Us web site has a table for some comparisons, not perfect but a ball park idea anyway and I've found it to be pretty close. The 40 pilot is lg. for the stock bore as I never went up until the big bore and then only 1 size. But who knows as no two bike will respond exactly the same.
