first motorcycle was a yamaha blaster. rode the thing like it was on its last leg everytime, till i seized the motor railing a corner 4 gear pinned. fixed it but then my dad knew i need a bigger bike. my bro got the blaster and i moved up to my dad old 400ex and he got a cr500. again, rode the **** out of the thing, but my dad was getting out of riding at the time so we went less and less till he traded them in for a crusier. week later i got my first "bike", the klx, only had riden the cr a few times before that so i learned a hell of a lot on the klx. few weeks later he traded the crusier back in for a xr650l. he still doesnt really ride it, and i still ride the living **** out of mine .

Thats an easy one. It would be the 2006 KLX250s.
Geez, the motorcycle was so orginal at 1,800 miles. Now when I think of all the work I've done. It doesn't seem so new anymore at over 7,000 miles.

This was my first bike. 125, Hodaka, I was 14 and it was a magical time. Bikes....Charlies Angels, and Dukes of Hazard. It do not get any better than that.
I had a couple of other bikes after that first bike, then 20 years went by and I picked up this really nice Yamaha. Wish I still had it. Sold it the day my son was born. That was 13 years ago.
4 years ago I bought the KLX and well its been awesome again.

Though not a bike, my first off-road machine was a 1982 Honda ATC185s 3-wheeler that I got when I was 12. Don't have any pictures of that handy. I ran the crap of it! A buddy of mine at the time was an amateur MX racer, and his dad owned a repair shop (bikes, ATV's, sleds, etc.). One of his old race bikes was a thrashed CR250 (air-cooled, '80 or '81 I think). The engine in it still ran OK, so we shoe-horned it into my ATC185s, whose own engine was getting tired by then. His dad helped me mount the engine and fabricate the pipe. You had to take the rear fenders off to start it so the kickstarter would clear (which was on the left side, not the right). With no rear suspension, it was nearly impossible to hang on to at full throttle, but I had a blast on it anyway.
My first real motorcycle was a 1985 Suzuki SP250. No pictures of that either, but here's what it looked like...
I got it when I was 16 with thoughts of riding it on- and off-road everywhere. My parents on the other hand, nixed that idea for fear of my getting hurt on the street. Funny thing is, that squirrel-on-heroin 3-wheeler I mentioned earlier never gave them a moment of concern.
Anyway, I never got a plate for it, and only got to put about 2K miles on it. When I was 18, I had to sell everything to help pay for college. 14 years later, the bike bug bit me again. Bikes came and went until I saw my KLX at the dealer one day, and here I am.
