Default what are you using for a Megabomb heat shield?

hey dudes,

got the megabomb and powercore4, made the bike wayyy better.

But it's melting all my pants, what are you guys using for heat shields with this thing?

BTW, I've dyno'd mine with the same exhaust... what are you doing for jetting, airbox lid, and what's your altitude..?

thanks bro but it says that wont fit my bike.. does it fit yours? I was about to get one of those 2 stroke bendy heat shields..

I had mine set up at the local Kawasaki dealership but it's stage 2 dyno jet kit, snorkel removed, and I'm right at sea level. It's way more powerful and sounds way tougher but it does pop on decell, how bout u?

Well I assume it'll fit my 2012 KLX250s as that is the selection I made.. You do have a KLX250, right?

Your shop probably just installed the kit as per instructions.. My dyno testing shows - at or near sea level - Mo Powa (little over +1hp midrange to cutoff) using the DJ#132 and needle on 4th notch down and airbox lid off. It's Mo Powa enough to make you giggle like a little girl @ WOT. Check out my signature line stuff..

I like mine, I don't have the Mega-bomb but I was getting too much heat off this thing before I installed my heat shield.
