What have you done to your klx250s this week?

Weather isn't too good here atm, there's snow, ice and it's very cold not really the biking season.
Once it starts to get a bit warmer I've got a bit of maintenance to catch up with.
Chain oiling and adjusting, ready for a new rear tyre and its well overdue a wash and polish.
Bring on spring!

Modified case saver and installed 16 tooth sprocket.
Rode to work, got safety inspection.
Checked valves to follow up on cam install 1,000 miles back. Cam break-in looks fantastic. Found one exhaust valve at .011" Knew it was a little loose during install, but I didn't have the right size shim and thought it might ease tighter anyway. It hasn't moved, so -
Ordered one 3.10mm valve shim. Waiting...
Removed CVK carburetor.
Received TM36-68, disassembled, ordered jets. Waiting...
Ordered longer throttle cables. Waiting...
It's sitting in my garage now with paper towels covering the cams, and rags stuffed in the intake port. Waiting...

Serviced forks and removed 1" spacers.
Serviced shock and installed gold valve.
Checked linkage bearings.
Upped CS from 13 to 14 tooth (now at 14/51 with snail adjuster at zero on a 110-link chain).
Checked and adjusted float height in TM36-68 using this:

Once you get it all going give the impression on the 16 toother! I just put a 15 tooth on my 351, it works, the torque pulls great, the low revving is great, but it just doesn't have that stupid grin producing snap as the 13 tooth..

It does very, very well on the highway. I stay in 5th gear until >60mph. Cruises at 70 with no effort at all, ~ 6500rpm.
Had it up to 85 and still accelerating strongly with plenty power and revs to spare.
That being said, I'm putting the 15 back on after the trip. The bike comes off the line noticeably slower and the larger gaps in gearing are annoying in anything tight and technical. But for the miles of flat open highway we will be pulling it should be great.
Do you get any feathering / cupping on your Diablos?

Not as of yet, I think I have 1000 or 2000 miles on them? Not quote sure, I'll have to check. I run LOW pressures to increase grip at expense of tire life (18 lbs). Front looks new, rear is developing a flat spot, but that's to be expected out of a commuter.

I layed it over in the driveway, to get gas in the carb, so I could start it.
Rode it 2 blocks up the street and back, put it away. Later planned 2 trips for it, 1 up to the rim to West Fork Lookout, 2 up Mingus fire roads so I wouldn't get lost and end up with 20 miles on a gravel road.
