Uncommon Vendor - Mark Krieger Cam Chain Tensioner
#11
Mark,
Here in Waco area (in-between Dallas and Austin) I haven't been able to ride too much past couple weeks, either.
DFW area got a bit of snow recently. We didn't get to have that here, but we got so much rain/ice that it wasn't too safe to ride - at least not with my tires/experience level. I may be able to ride a bit this Friday.
I have a tensioner from you and I really think it's a great product. Excellent communication and quick shipping. Extra points for the extra gasket since I'll need it at some point in the future. I plan on putting your stickers on my bike once I finalize what I'm doing with tank/shrouds/forks/paint scheme :b
I'm still having problems dialing it in, but that's not because of the product - it's because I'm too scared to overtighten it and I'm not sure if a little noise is okay (it still makes noise starting at 6K RPM but it's like 1/4th of the noise it used to make).
I'll check my valves within next 1k miles or so, but it starts so easy that I doubt there's an actual issue with valve clearances so far. Maybe my hands are just weak and "hand tighten" for me means hand-tighten with a little bit of tool help.
