So I have been on the fence for some time about what the KLX250S has to offer me. I have been wanting to ride more street than dirt lately. The "S" as everyone know is geared more to dirt. So I decided to sell. I placed a Craigslist add for a ridiculous amount...... Well it sold. I got enough to buy my dream street bike ( for now anyways) a Yamaha FZ6 with 3900 miles on it. I got a great deal on it and I had enough money left over to buy a pure dirt bike, a 1986 Yamaha TT225. Yes it isn't a big bike but should satisfy my dirt needs.
I owned the KLX for 5 years, Will miss it. I will still drop in here to see what is going on from time to time.
Picture of the TT225 is not my bike. I'll looks just like that but is missing the decals. It does need some work before I can ride it. Picture of the FZ is from the craigslist add.

Enjoy your new rides, always fun to get onto a new bike(s) and sort it's (their) nuances out.
The FZ will spoil you for power, but the KLX is a delightfully flickable bike, albeit with very limited power, but you may miss it!
