Default TM 33/34 pump "squirt" duration

I'm planning on getting a Bill Blue modified Mikuni TM33/34 pumper carb for my KLX250 and would appreciate some feedback as to the best duration for the fuel "squirt".
Does "up to 1/3 throttle" seem about the right duration?
Cheers

I wired mine to be inoperative, you really don't need it.

I set the duration on my 36mm Mikuni for best throttle response. With engine warmed up and in neutral, keep blipping the throttle while adjusting the duration for best response.
