Default Switching power source GPS

Hello,

I have just made the switching relay connection for GPS to switch on only with the ignition. Now I have everything perfectly connected, instead the relay coil.
I need to find wire on the bike and use it as a switching source (like lights etc.).
It may be the wire which has +12V when the ignition is turned on. And 0V to the ground when the ignition is turned off.

Is it possible to show me some photos which showing the wires and position of the wire with 12V when ignition on.

Thanks a lot

I used the power feed to the turn signal relay to trigger the aux power relay which I mounted nearby.

When I look on the wiring diagram it looks like that the turn signal relay has no fuse,
therefore I think that it will be good to wire it on the RED wire which goes out of the fuse box for lights. Or another possibility is to make separate fuse and connect it on the BROWN cable from the ignition. I think that it is unnecessary.

Another question is how to connect the cable to the RED one best way.

The turn signal power is protected by the main 20A fuse which feeds the ignition switch and from there a whole lot of circuits.
I picked the brown wire at the turn signal flasher as it was easiest to tap into and right where I put the aux power relay.

Im in the same boat with a power source for a switch for my led bar im installing. I was debating on the turn signal or the brake light wire.

Brake light wouldn't be so good but the tail light would work.

It all depends on where you want to mount the relay, assuming you're going to use a relay.

Thanks a lot for reasonable idea. This is exactly what I want to know.
Is it possible to connect to that brown wire without cutting it?
For example by using this connector:

thanks

As of right now i have the relay mounted on the back right screw on the air lid. Seem to be the most protected and easily accessibly spot. Im thinking one of the turn signals to power the switch

I carefully removed the brown wire from the turn relay connector/plug, soldered on the jumper and put it back in where it came from. No cutting. Hard to tell it's not stock.
"Turn-AuxRelays" has the turn relay on the left and the Aux power relay wrapped in a bit of bicycle inner tube with a zip tie to it's right; ignore the wires at the top of the pic.
In "FromBelowSide" you can see the wires to the turn relay. The wire in the bit of clear plastic tubing is the jumper to trigger the Aux relay.

Thanks for the information
I made it with small relay which I mounted on the cable from the battery and it is fully shielded from the water, it became the part of the cable. From this part goes out the power switch wire and that must be connected to the brown cable of the relay.
I am really not fan of this kind wires connection system

but I will see after I look at it.
