Default Stainless steel braided brake lines - Bang for the buck?

Did the sumo wheel conversion on the 2010 KLX250S and the front end just really needs some attention now. I installed weight appropriate springs already. Didn't have the $ at the time to do re-valving. For on and off-roading, is going with braided brake lines a good mod or should I just save up some dough for a re-valving?

I'd say a revalve is higher on the list than SS lines.
The suspension needs more improvement than the brakes, IMHO.
SS lines definitely improve brake feel and possibly increase braking power, but I never had a problem stopping w/o them, they are just a nice upgrade.

Make sure the brakes are properly blead and get some good pads. If you don't have a bleeder, get one. I suffered along for years doing it manual. Stupid.

That's a cheap start.

Vacuum bleeder around $30 from Harbor Freight.

A good deal for some, but for me that would have been $63 considering I have four bikes with disc brakes. Plus the vacuum bleeder can be used on the truck too.

Back to the stainless line benefits, I have a stainless line in the garage for the 250 front brake, but right now it's a light two finger brake - I can virtually stand it on its nose with two fingers. I'm surprised it is that good with the stock line, although the 650 wasn't too bad either.

Those speed bleeders are pretty slick. I tried a vacuum bleeder when I changed my lines recently. Wish I bought one years ago.
