Music for me is my FMF Q4 and 6 gears for my picking.
If you must have music the Bose ear buds are legit. They fit awesome, just find a pic and you'll see why. Plus the fitment blocks out a pinch of noise too. Or get some blue teeth kind of set up, that might be my next choice.

Agree on noise blocking ear buds as earplugs to quite the engine and wind noise. Ipod for tunes in remote areas. I use cheap Skull Candy brand, because I am cheap. They sound decent and block outside noise fairly well.

I still rock my Skull Candy too. I keep those in my tank bag as a matter of fact, they are more compact. The Bose sound sick. The clarity and depth are amazing but some how the bass is incredible on the Skull Candy ear buds. I'd say better bang for the buck for sure and honestly...can you REALLY tell, especially while riding. I will say the Bose stay put really well while putting your helmet on and during rides, SC not so much. Anyway, I'll try not to go off topic. Ha!

Headphones in my mobile has always done the trick for me around town.
Quick blast in the countryside I much prefer the Powercore thundering away .
A youtube search did return a few vids on some kits that are available.
Although its not something I'd do, subjecting the public to my "jams"
