Default Radiator guards

I made up my radiator template today, only out of cardboard but that and the white plastic guard to use as a guide the engineering shop I went to should be able to make something up. They are making it out of Stainless Steel, they didn't have any S/S mesh so I went searching. After a few shops I found what I wanted but at $180 per sheet I said thanks but no thanks, I asked about off cuts cause I only needed a tiny amount and he put me onto a place that makes security screen doors. Well this guy couldn't have been more helpful, got the S/S mesh for free and it even came in black. He was just going to throw this stuff away.
The engineering shop will make up a frame outta S/S and the tabs to bolt it on where the white plastic guard went and then weld in the mesh. Can't wait to see how it looks. Not sure wether to just paint it or see if I can get it powder coated.
Now I just have to make up the template for the bash plate and get them to make it for me, all up for both rad and sump guards should cost no more than just buying a commercial bash plate
