Default Quick fuel screw question

So I am doing the carb/jet/airbox mod and am ordering my jet kit and just wondering if anyone knows if this airscrew will fit the 2006 carb:

Factory Effex Fuel Adjustment Screw - 1050-0210 - Phat Performance Parts

Says it fits: Kawasaki KX250F (04-08), KX450F (06-08), KLX450R along with a bunch of other brands bikes. Don't really want to spend the extra shipping to order the kouba one elsewhere if I dont have too. Also, I live at 5000ft and ride up to about 12000 so I know most people say the extended screw is not worth the 16 bucks, but I feel like I may be adjusting it with that large of a range in altitude. Thanks.

You should make sure those bikes use a CVK carb, which they may not...
Some Harleys use CVKs, so an H-D shop might have one.

The business end doesn't look anything like the Kouba screw.

"For Keihin FCR carburetors."

That's not a stock klx250 carb.

CV carbs are very forgiving of altitude changes. The adjustable pilot screws are needed on flat slide carbs not so much for our application. If you are jetted properly for Ft. Collins you should be ok unless you regularly go really high.

Definitely does not fit. The r&d flexjet does not fit either. If you want one you will need to buy the kouba or make your own

Or just use a flat-head screw bit.

Go to the Harley shop, get the YOST fuel mix screw for CVK40 carbs. It will work, it does work, I've seen it work... I have one and it's great. You can actually adjust it while riding if you feel brave but I don't recommend it for liability issues :P
