Other question, is there enough power to push the 100? I ran high and low at the same time on my 650 and blew the fuse.

Hmm, can't answer that...might be fine moving but too much heat while sitting.
I'd try it but keep checking for melting and maybe with a volt meter attached to keep an eye on the charging system.
The PIAA H4 is rated as putting out the equivalent of 100W worth of light using 60W or something. I'm on my second. Much better than stock.
Sanjoh on ADVrider also makes an H4 LED that is supposed to be good. Check the vendor section. I'm going to get one and an LED lightbar, I'll end up at the same power usage for much more light...so I can keep my heated gear going at the same time!

Just put in an Osram 80/100. I'll let know how it works for me in the next few days

I've only put about 4 hrs on it, but so far so good. Took it out tonight to see how it was in the dark and it was much brighter than stock. My son put a few LED 6x2 lights on his truck and they're so bright you can't look at them. Going to grab one for the KLX for those night time trail rides.

This is what I did on mine:

Very start of the video is on the trail with the headlight, then I switch on 4 of the LED's, then 2 more - I should have filmed longer with just the headlight, then the LEDs to make it easier to see the difference.

I bought 10 4.5W LED bulbs off ebay for $20 - I wired 6 to my KLX and 4 to my son's KLX). I wired mine to a switch, to a fuse, then to the battery (so I can run them with the ignition off). I have 2 on one switch, and 4 on a second switch. If I stop for a break in the dark, I can turn off the ignition and just turn on the 2 LEDs - I get good light without using much power from the battery. They don't light up 'down' the trail much, but do light up in front and around. I found when I ran the hi-beam, there was no light on the trail in front of me - these light up the trail in front of me pretty well.

That's exactly what my son said.

rgmr250, do you have a link to the LEDs you used?

I just put a Cyclops H4 LED in my KLX... works awesome. It's 30 watts low and 35 watts high, rated at 3600 lumens.

I also run a pair of inexpensive eBay LED aux lights along with it (10 watts each), so nighttime visibility isn't an issue at all.
