The 2007 KLX-S front hub part number only fits '06 and '07 KLX250S models.

The 2007 KLX-S REAR hub fits TONS of different bikes. Here is the list:
1995-2006 KDX200
1997-2005 KDX220R
1991-1994 KDX250
1994-1996 KLX250R
2006-2007 KLX250S (Obviously)
1997-2007 KLX300R
1993-1996 KLX650R
So from this, if I understand correctly, I have a 2006 klx - s, does it mean I need a front hub from either an 06 or 07 and I can get a rear hub from any of the bikes listed?

sorry if it's obvious, but sometimes I'm pretty dense...

The front hubs off the larger lower list will fit too BUT you'll need the associated brake disc as there are some differences, notably the KLX300R. Don't quote me though.

Ok, does that mean then, that I'll need to swap out the caliper also? All I'm looking to do is get a set of street tires setup as I travel almost 100kms a day commuting and it's burning up my knobbies fast.. lol

Caliper is the same. The difference is in the drilling of the hub for the brake disc. Different size bolts and holes in the disc and hub. The discs are the same size across the models listed and the calipers are all interchangeable.

Just get a set of wheels and make sure the front has the disc.

Cool, thanks for the info.

What should I look for if I wanted to put 17's front and back? I think the most popular is the Excel wheels when doing that swap. Can I simply buy two Rims and use the rest of the stuff from the other rims? Except for the spokes of course.

Sure. Use stock hubs and lace up any 17" rim you like. SM pro rims are getting a good rep'. Cheaper than the Excel rims too.

I couldn't find a true mx wheel and tire setup for my girlfriend's bike either so I got a set of the kenda 270 tires. 4.6-17 in the front and 5.1-17 in the rear. Working well thus far and with her not being an aggressive rider off road they are a very nice 50/50 tire.

Hey guys, I'm in the process of converting my 2009 KLX250S into a Supermoto. Anyone interested in a good deal on my dirt wheels?

Front and Rear Wheels with Kenda Trakmaster II's brakes rotor and sprocket. The sprocket has about 500miles on it and the brake disk has about 3000miles. They've seen nearly 100% offroad use so they have some scratches.

They have been sold!!

I'm interested - but I guess there are conditions. Like, how much you want, and how much shipping it to me will be. Also, what year model? Mine is a 2010 so I think it'll accept the 2009 and 2010 wheels.

Where are you located? I'd be interested in them.
