Default MPG and what are you getting ?

Recently went from stock carb and 250cylinder to BB pumper carb and BB351 cylinder. (klx250sf)

My gas mileage has gone down from around 60mpg (90miles ish from a full tank to reserve) to 46mpg (70miles from a full tank to reserve)

Sea level with a 140main jet & snorkel removed... Always had an FMF Q4 end can.

Does that seem about right with other 351 owners ? 46 mpg ish ? I'd say i'm pretty throttle happy while pulling away. like to hear the engine roar and have the front skittish on first and second and it detaches itself from the asphalt... (makes it a little more fun )

Also i always use to use 93octane, and tried a tank of 93 vs 89, and well can't say ive noticed any difference in mileage or power. Maybe a little more power with the 93, but it could all be in the mind... Eitherway not a huge difference.

What octane do you guys use?

Every time you crack that throttle you are giving it a big ole squirt of fuel.
