I have an engine/trans from an '09 bike that ran great when pulled from a wrecked bike recently. I can send you a link to YouTube video of the bike running before I disassembled it. Will drop you a PM as well.

 

I have a trans from an 07 with the taller 6th gear.

Worked perfect. I pulled the motor because I popped a hole in the bottom of the crank case and got a new motor.

from his description in his other thread and as per KLX678 I think it's more likely to be the topend that has "seized". motor run without oil......... those ball bearings in the trans are pretty robust, not so the plain bearings in the head for the cams....... might get away with just a replacement head & cams but you won't know until the cam cover comes off............
