Exactly my line of thought with it. Great expedition rig/base camp. With the shelter on my total height is 12ft 4in. I can hit about 70mph at redline, but I cruise at 55-60. Going to upgrade the trans so I can cruise at 65.

Well after a few delays I finally made the trip, but only made it to Salt Lake City, Utah before the engine decided it had enough. Heres a link to the trip report From Midland Texas to Salt Lake City Utah - Expedition Portal

Job hunting right now, hopefully I'll have a job and can get started having fun again very soon!

I too had to had to resort to google for some info. Did you give them the "I can't talk about it" line, just to get them going?
It seems the rig found your new home. Hope it all works out. There must be fantastic riding all around your new location. Got a bike to ride yet?

Planning to head to the dealership next week to see what they have in stock. Probably go for the klx250s, keep my expenses down and I know from experience that they are durable/reliable.

There is lots of good riding nearby, and great riding a few hours away (weekend trips). Of all places for the old engine in the deuce to break down, this is the best spot for me. Lots of outdoor activities, city stuff when wanted, and many friends here.

Haha I'd tell them the truth, just taking a slow road trip across the western US. Some were fascinated, others thought I was lying.
