Default Levers for KLX250

Im looking for some new levers for my 2009 KLX250.

I recently installed Acerbis Rally Pro Handguards and the stock levers are too long. Thought about cutting the end off but I am afraid I will get impaled by them in a crash or something.

I must say though that I dont think I will like the uber shorty levers. Anyone got some suggestions for some semi-long levers(thats shorter than stock) but which will fit in the Acerbis Rally Pro handguards? Preferably not uber expensive.

Just cut the end off and sand smooth. That is what I did.

How much of your hand can you fit on those levers?

Also, will any ninja 250r levers do or only specific years?

What do you mean the colours fade? Do you think it will fade if I get them in black or silver?

Sorry for all the questions

I love my Zeta 3 finger adjustable levers. I am running the same Acerbis guards you have, with no problems.

Zeta ones do look good, but they are a little too pricy for me after shipping, import taxes and so on. (I am in Europe)

I've been thinking about getting shorter ones myself lately so this is a timely thread.

Do those levers attach directly to the KLX housings?

What's the red switch do?

Please post links of what your finding fellas.
