Default Late ride report...or early lol

So get this....As part of my job today I got to take a ride on my Dual Sport Motorcycle up the 5000 mainline about 15 miles to GPS and map out the location of a couple of loads of logs that DNR is donating to us for an experiment. I know....its pretty rough. Oh and I volunteered to go and suggested that I take my bike...what a deal huh? Do you love your job as much as I do? hahahaha..

Getting paid to ride my motorcycle....priceless, for everything else there's Mastercard.

Looks like a fun day. I use my bike to commute between operations during the day. Great fun. Being in wv I can hit a lot of diet roads to get to them

38 is pretty cool, must have been below freezing when you started out eh? (Iced over puddles) Heated grips I hope, makes all the difference below 50 f or 10 c for us Canucks.

Heated grips? uh no those are on my wifes bike in case it gets below 70. LOL

It was cold though, I have heated grips on my 1300, but not the KLX. Hmmm maybe I should.

Way to take one for the team. I can almost see a slumped shoulder Deej, saying,"I'll do it." Then dancing a jig when he gets out of the room.
You must love all the logging roads up there. Looking at the map it seems like there's a million to chose from.
38º is just getting chilly, nothing a good pair of Gore-tex over mitts like Aerostitch's Triple Digits can't handle. Adds a load of comfort and can easily be stowed if not needed.
And...heated gloves are way better than grips for many reasons, from my personal experience, just sayin'.
