Default Kustom kraft 330 is finally coming together

Got my KK kit in and she is almost done. Tomorrow I will get the tank and plastics on and fire her up.

As far as the KK kit goes I am pleased. Clearances are perfect and cylinder finish is well done. Just needed to touch the top ring gap. It was in spec. But a little on the tight side for my liking.

Probably won't be able to get a ride in (terrible weather) but I am glad my bike is together.

cylinder is blasted so I put a little paint on her. Mariner nickel it very close to the frame color.

Just curious why did you choose the Kustom Kraft kit over one of the Bill Blue kits 351, 330?

I prefer a plated cylinder.

Got out today for a ride after work and Wow what a difference. Going to give it a 100 miles before I start ringing her out but even at low rpms it is a big improvement.

Little more vibration over the 250 but nothing that makes you tingle. Vibration may be a little to strong as a description. I guess you can say it has a stronger Thumper feel to it.

One thing for sure is with the T63's and the extra cc's she doesn't feel as forgiving as the 250 did with the D605's.

No more playing Sumo with the KLX.

To early to be sure but jetting seems ok. Little popping on closed throttle that wasn't there before but nothing a turn of the air screw can't fix.

I would like to Thank everyone here. After all if it wasn't you guys and gals I would have never known the complete modability of the KLX.

Thanks Guys and Gals!
