I agree, that's the bike Kawasaki should have made. Except one thing ... needs that 6th gear. Then it would be perfect.

I want to see somebody do this, and then put the bike through commuter duty, then report on how well the bike handles it in terms of power plant lifespan.

I'm still surprised they haven't done it yet, no wonder there are so many KTM's around now.

For my comute back and forth to work. The KLX250 is ideal, but having that extra power for kick and fun is more of what I want. And with a KLX450, highway speeds of 60+ mph would not be such a pain to manitain. The KLX250 does happily cruise at 50-55mph, but tends to labor towards 60mph.
