Klx 250 s `14 Impressions from Germany
Hello Guys !!
At first, sorry for my english, not the best but i try hard .
Sooo , Hello from Germany too all. Im new here and want to give some impressions about my new bike.
All began in last summer 2015, im bored off driving my GSX-R 750 K7 and get in search for some street-legal LITTLE enduro.
I also have a Cagiva Gran Canyon 900 wit Ducati Engine and a Kawasaki z1000 SX here. so i know what i want
First it was clear for me to buy a Suzuki DRZ 400 but its not a good deal, they have moon prices for DRZ´s in good conditions here in Germany.
!!! (pls suzuki give there drz400 an efi for europe countries fu** euro emessions and sell them again.*!!!* ) .
Okay so the only last options im going for was to buy a new bike in 250 CCM classes.
so i tested the known threes like crf 250 l . klx 250 s an wr 250 f !
the wr 250 was not really an option, for the price i get two honda crf 250 l´s in new here^^.
so best quality and price option for me here was at least the KLX 250 S .
i get her with 0 kilometer as a 2014 modell for 4k€ with 4 year warranty.
So next i started to drive with the klx 250 s in stock 1000 km with only max 6k rpms and two oil changes every 500 km. the hardest 1000km ive ever driven !
Now the sweety was readdy for some actions, so i spend some parts for her like :
- GPR Exhaust without cat
- 02 Ellimanator
- Twinair Filter
- KDX 200 Snorkel
- Clutch Cable Mod.

- Edge2 Tail Holder
- Small Indicators Front&Back
- Renthal Carmichael Handlebar
- Bar Risers 5 cm from SW - Motech

After i finish with the Project and get a ride on the "NEW" ^^ Klx 250 s it was like riding a new bike.
Powerfull and all good with the efi, not to rich and not to lean, perfect... and sounds like a real boy , not like a green lady in stock -_-
The Market for the KLX 250 is here in Germany very low. maybe there is no really market for this^^
so its hard for aftermarket , tail holder and rackpack ill get expensive from usa with taxes etc ... , but im so happy with this thing.
Its so lovely for small endurotrips. Noone need more in my opionion. sure its not for the autobahn or somehting like this...
this is what you know when you bought it .
Not the terrain for the klx its simply clear.
Btw, I wanted to Buy a 351 from amerika but this actons is in no one reletaion to the price for example :
with all taxes etc.
- bb351 ccm 700€
- PC 5 300€
- Dyno 200€
sooo .. .1000 € !! for 101 ccm more... öööhmm no thanks... non croesus est .
