Default Headlight Is Dead.

Every other component on the bike is in working order.

Assuming that the bulb isn't burned, please, someone, list every possible theory as to why it could not be receiving power.

Thank You.

Most likely cause is the bulb, why assume it's not the problem?

OK helps to say that straight up.

As durielk said next place to check is fuse if not that then start looking for connectors that have come adrift or bad earths.

Just a thought if you have a multimeter it doesn't to check the continuity of the bulb, it is possible to have a bad filament and not be able to see it.

thanks for your replies! Where is the fuse for the headlight located? I only problem I see is that all turn signals and gauge lights are functional, so does the headlight have its own fuse? If so, where? Thank you so much!

From memory it's under the seat but I could be wrong. And yes I'm sure it has it's own.

Got this off another forum

Remove the seat, slide the rubber cover off of the small fuse box and pop it open. It's a 10 amp fuse

My headlight mysteriously burnt out just the other day. It was the fuse. I didn't have a glass tube fuse so I wired in a fuse box that takes a standard automotive square style fuse. Hopefully that's your problem too!
