I dont remember how many miles we did the first day but it was the nicest weather day out of all 3. I got a flat front at the end of the day. Headed back to the hotel to eat dinner and have some beer. They were calling for some rain for Saturday.
Saturday we get up, get moving and get to the Buffalo mtn trail head and as we are getting dressed it starts to rain and didn’t stop all day. We ended the day on trail 199, all 48 miles that day was in the rain. Thankfully I brought my boot dryer with me, but it really didn’t matter it so wet down there 2 minutes into the day your feet were wet anyway. We pack everything back into the trailer head back to the hotel get a shower and decide to go to the little steakhouse right by the hotel. The bartender was real nice and we got to talking with him and he tells us that he is Sam Murray the last one to win the gameshow Who wants to be a millionaire”

Who would have thought that in a little town in the middle of WV that you would meet someone like that. He was a pretty amazing guy. He had a terrific memory. He could take up to a 22 guest table’s order and not mess it up. Checked the weather they were calling for 3-5” of snow down there over night Saturday.
Was a great day.
Woke up and sure enough there was about 2” of snow. We headed to little coal river to get a few hours of riding in before we had to start heading home. I think we rode til 2ish. close to 30 miles.

Awesome videos Eric! Riding Trail 199 in the rain takes some iron *****. I rode it once in perfect conditions and still crashed repeatedly.

What exhaust are you running? In the videos at least, it doesn't sound like your old Big Gun.

I had the waterproof door on the gopro so it muffled all sound pretty good. Its the big gun. I have reengineered the vortex insert and the quiet core to work together to quiet it down as much as possible.
