Grab bar mounted near headlight available?
I had an Yamaha XT225 that had a grab bar mounted near the headlight. Very handy accessory to have... Anyone know if one exists for the KLX.

1" nylon web can be gotten at JoAnn Fabric, as well as other widths In fact for tie straps the Fastex style buckles and so on are there too.
Amazing what one can ferret out when being someplace like that with your wife as she's ferreting through the fabric and patterns.
One more thought, you could bend a handle out of steel or aluminum tube/solid stock or have the supplier bend it, weld on a couple washer ends and you got a grab bar. Form it to go around your headlight.

I just took some old automobile seat belts and used them. I have one on the front, bolted to the fork clamps, and then one over the rear of the seat, bolted on the underside of the fender. To bolt them on, heat up a screw with a torch and then poke it through the belt webbing where you want the bolt to go and it will burn a nice hole right through. I usually fold over the end of the belt, so the hole is going through 2 layers of webbing, for added strength. In the rear, the belt web is folded in half with a small piece of foam inside, then the two halves sewn together, so you're not grabbing a 2" wide flat strap, but rather a 1" wide slightly rounded lightly padded strap - much easier on the hands.
I have this setup on both KLX's and my friend has the same on his WR250R. They have been very handy - I've regularly needed both the front and the rear ones. I had the seatbelts in a box from project long ago, so it was a cheap accessory to build.

The rear strap is handy for picking up the rear of the bike and moving it around - if you're on a narrow/tight trail and don't have room to turn around, or just re-orient the bike, it's a lot easier to pickup the rear end with the strap than under the fender etc.
The front strap is handy if you need a pull up a steep hill when you've got caught up on something and lost your momentum. See around 2:20, 6:30, (and then a failed attempt around 8:00), and then the rear strap around 9:00 in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIALEdcn9II
So, in that one ride, the straps came in handy several times.

Ah! same principle as all the "ohsh!t" handles I put in my Jeep! I can see that being helpful.
That looks like some fun riding in your video btw, I'm 2 weeks from my Central Utah run with some trails that look like that. Can't wait!!
