Anyone used Galfer brakes? is there a big difference between stock braking and Galfer brakes? the instructions included with the brakes says there is a noticeable difference..
front brake line and rear brake line together are about $110. are these brake lines worth it?

The front FOR SURE!! The rear won't make as much of a difference.
But for that price do them both.
I had to replace the front line on my KLR250. I put on a Galfer. So worth it to replace the stock lines with braided stainless.
You can have fun with the colors as well.

Galfer brakes
Called Galfer brakes today, the last year model of brake 'kit' they make is a 2010. They do not make a kit for a 2012. The older kits I was told will noy work.

galfer brakes
they do not have either front or rear.
I spoke with "Chris" on the phone today, couldn't directly tell me over the phone if the brakes for a 2010 or later would fit. Thought the brakes had a change over of some sort. Said he would reference his computer database and call me back.
Called me back asap, listened to the voicemail. Said they did not make any versions after 2010. My only option was to measure my brake line and have one custom made, or send a return authorization box with my brake lines to have them duplicated.
My question is:
Can anyone with a 2010 KLX verify that the brakes are the same? And would fit on a newer model KLX250s up to lets say 2014?

thanks for confirming this. everything else I've seen as far as part fitment online is 2009-and up. so it must not really be any difference, just not listed as such. it helps to have the right parts. haha.
