I'd like to get the IMS ADV 1 foot pegs but they say they fit 1987-2014 KLR650.

or the IMS "bigfoot" foot pegs but the fitment on the website says they fit KLX450 KX250F and KX450F.

would any of these foot pegs fit the KLX250s, even though they are made for a different dirt bike of Kawasaki's?

I run the IMS Pro and they've been terrific. If you're interested in the other IMS pegs, give them a call. Maybe they know if they fit or not.

Good idea. I will update you all on that. In the meantime here is a article on everything peg related.

from pivot pegs to super motard pegs to ims pegs.

article from dirt rider magazine. circa 2011.

Default Bigfoot and rally pegs

Just got off the phone with IMS. I was told the KLX 250s has a very specific mounting system different from any other Kawasaki. The way the mount fits the peg, no other peg not meant for a KLX 250s would fit.

I was also asking about the Bigfoot pegs, and was told a limited run would be produced specifically for the KLX250s, and that also a limited run of a "rally" peg was being produced. A rally peg is much wider and also longer.

I can't wait.

If anyone else is interested in a peg that no one else has and not very many are going to be made I can copy and paste the email I received and you can be on the list to be first in line to have one. The email says it will take approximately 60 days.

The first "Bigfoot" sighting for the KLX250s. Haha.

So the pegs I've been using don't fit ?
